Munchies Festival 2015 - What A Year!!
Munchies 2015 finally arrived, its the event even the weather cannot spoil! Munchies is now in its third year and based on your feedback, seems to get better and better. We were lucky to be joined once again by the the British Family, who this year were accompanied by our own Gravesend Town Crier (Oh Yay!!) .
The music and demonstrations started at 12:00 with an eclectic mix of new and old, blues, rock, jazz and soul delivered through the day. The demonstrations were a huge success with Kents College - Chef School giving us two amazing cookery demos. In addition to that we had kung fu, creepy crawlies, and the Kent Chilli Farm to entertain and talk.
We had over 70 local producers, suppliers, artisans and businesses in attendance to meet and serve the best that Kent has to offer to our 3,500+ visitors. From pickles to preserves, cheese to chilli, we covered it all. The kids were not left out with a craft corner, kids cookery demonstration, a mini beast hunt from Jeskyns, petting area, competitions and creepy crawlies
Congratulations to all our stallholders, artisans and producers for helping make Munchies 2015 such a great event - it was lovely to see so many of you come back for your third year and support us. We have received wonderful feedback from the Cobham public - let's face it 3,500 people cannot be wrong!!!

Also congratulations to Anthony Hopkin and his team from Kent College Chef School who won our 'Best of Munchies' - They received our handsome salver, but they also get to come along free next year and receive free advertising - the good news is you don't have to wait a whole year - you can go and eat at McLeod's Restaurant & Bistro and sample their great food.
Raising money for the maintenance and development of 'The Meadow Room' our local village hall, a self funded charity. Donated by the Stevens Sisters in 1953, 'The Meadow Room' houses our preschool, youth club, brownies, and supports lots of other clubs, societies and charities.
Every penny raised goes back to the local community - find out about The Meadow Room
